Why September
The studio’s first year began quietly, but September is when the new season starts here in Quebec. Children go back to school, routines return, and something in all of us wants a fresh beginning. It felt right to mark one year not in the heat of summer, but at the doorway of a new season, when renewal is already in the air.
What this year taught me
I learned that beauty begins from within, and that my work is never only about hair. Before each appointment I take a moment to pray over the woman about to sit down, because she is a story and a faith, not a task to complete. I learned patience, the kind hair teaches you: growth happens in its own time, and so do we.
The women who made the year
Every woman who trusted me with her hair trusted me with a piece of her heart. You are the reason I call this a ministry and not only a service. A safe space. A chair where you leave more beautiful, but mostly more yourself.
