Trust the Process: How a Simple “Yes” Can Change Everything

There are seasons when you can’t yet see where the road is leading. You move through the fog, your heart full of questions, without the full map in your hands. If that’s where you find yourself today, I want to say something to you, gently: trust the process, and be patient.

Nothing you are walking through is wasted. Everything happens for a reason. And when I look back, from the ten-year-old girl who was already styling hair to the woman opening the doors of Studio IAM Beauté here in Terrebonne, I can see clearly that God gives each of us the desires of our hearts. Not always when we expect them. But always at the right time.

A simple “yes”

A simple yes can change your life.

Taking a chance and stepping out in faith opens doors you never imagined. Yes, some doors will close. Others will open. And both are part of the process. What closes isn’t a punishment. It’s often a redirection. God protects, prepares, and sets each thing in its place when the time is right.

I’ve had to say that yes more than once. Yes to my gift, even when I didn’t know where it would lead. Yes to the idea that styling hair could be far more than a job: a ministry, a safe space, a way to remind every woman that she is fearfully and wonderfully made.

Breakthroughs often come after breakdowns

Sometimes, you may find yourself in uncomfortable situations. I want you to know that this discomfort can be the beginning of something new.

Breakdowns often happen before breakthroughs. What looks like an ending is sometimes the first page of a new chapter. The hard season isn’t here to break you. It’s here to shape you. Every trial lays down a strength inside you that you’ll only recognize later.

Don’t give up

So I’ll say it to you from the bottom of my heart: don’t give up. Keep going.

Trust the gifts you have been blessed with. Be patient. Trust God, and trust the process. This journey may not always be easy, but every step is shaping you into who you are meant to become.
